Welcome to the tour!

As a member of the Palm Society of South Texas, I recently took a drive around Corpus Christi in search of different palms and have compiled them into 4 tour areas.  I could not have completed this website without the help of Gary Meiser and his knowledge of palms.  Thanks again, Gary!  I will be adding photos to this website so keep coming back for more great shots.

The first part of your tour is of the downtown area of Corpus Christi.  The City of Corpus Christi will be adding many new palms to the many parks that face Corpus Christi Bay. The freezes of 1985 and 1989 took out many palms and they have been sincerely missed. 

The most beautiful drive along the bay is on Ocean Drive, our second area on your tour.  Here you will find large homes on both sides of the boulevard with professional landscaping.  Just gorgeous!

The third stop on your tour will be the Texas A&M University - Corpus Christi campus.  Just continue on out Ocean Drive and follow the signs.

The final area of your tour will be other areas around Corpus Christi.  These are just a few of many palms found in our great city.  You will see many city parks with playgrounds.
