Charlie and Lana have invited us back to their place for the June, 2010, meeting. They will be serving the main entrée, and they ask members to bring a side dish or a salad or a dessert and your favorite drink to make up a great lunch. They would like to serve about 12:30 or 1 PM, so don’t be late!
IMPORTANT! The Viehs would like to have an accurate head count, so please RSVP to Ed Ladd or John Dillard at eladd@grandecom.net no later than Wednesday, June 16. You can also call 361-854-8719.
DIRECTIONS: From the north, take Highway 77 to Harlingen; from the west take Highway 83 to Harlingen. Continue on past Harlingen toward San Benito. (From Brownsville also take Highway 77 north.) Exit onto “Paso Real” FM Highway 509. Go south on 509 about 6 miles to the second flashing light. Turn right onto FM Highway 675 (Landrum Park Road), and go about ¾ mile. You will see a large white mailbox on the left with VIEH on it. Their hacienda-style home is on the right side of the road at 18413 Landrum Park Road. If you get lost or need help, give them a call at 956-425-4651.
